b4.1, RH5.2, USR Sportster Waiting for modem to come ready

Hi,

I installed the 4.1beta version of Hylafax on a RH5.2. I use a USR
Sportster Flash. ("U.S. Robotics Sportster Flash 56000 Rev. 10.1.29")

Faxsetup and faxaddmodem make it work, allthough i still have some
problems. I try to change some entries in the config file. From that
point, it doesn't work anymore, even with the previous config file.

I can connect to the modem, dial out with kermit and probe it, but the
modem is always busy for inbound or outboud calls with Hylafax :
[carl@linux carl]$ faxstat
HylaFAX scheduler on linux: Running
Modem cua1 (+33.0.562.192.491): Waiting for modem to come ready

This is the last 3 entries of the xferfaxlog file :

**********
07/12/99 12:11 SEND 00000012 cua1 5 ""

I read USR may work better with Class 1. How to change the default
config files to switch from 2.0 to Class 1 ?

Could somebody help ?

Thanks.
