flexfax: modem not seen ...

I still can't use hylafax :-(
redhat 5.2 
I'm now trying with 4.1beta in rpm format got it from hylafax site

here is the problem ...

HylaFAX scheduler on omer.giangy.net: Running
[giangy@omer giangy]$ 

no active modem shown... wven thou I configured it and did 
faxmodem etc etc (tried using faxgetty in inittab too)

I found this on logs ... (finally found something)
when I turn hylafax on
