It looks like there was some sort of false connect followed by a valid
fax connection.

This looks like a wrong speed connection!  I think the receive modem 
has gone into a false data mode, then changed its mind.

This is the right trigger character.

Total mess.

If you can, try forcing the modems into Class 1, otherwise try and
get some modems on the reccommended list.
