flexfax: faxaddmodem --> elsa microlink 56k

I have some problems with faxaddmodem and the elsa microlink 56k pro.

The faxaddmodem-program recognizes only a class1 modem.

What can I do to let the faxaddmodem-programm recognize a
class2 or class 2.0 modem or better the elsa microlink 56k pro ?

Some idea ?
