RE: flexfax: Is there a solution to the "No response to MPS or EOP" problem?

Hi there,

I cannot offer a solution but I share the frustration of Phil since I can
reproduce this
exact problem with my setup:

    Hylafax 4.0pl2 binary distribution included in SuSE Linux 6.0 (Kernel
2.0.36)
    3Com US Robotics 56K Voice Faxmodem

This problem occurs reproducibly on certain analog fax machines. Even more
frustrating
is the fact that I did a cross check with the efax package. That worked ok
!!!

So either this is a Hylafax bug or a driver problem. In either case it is
sure that it can be
done since efax can do it. My config.ttyS0 is basically based on the USR20
template from
the config dirctory of the distribution with a small modification to get
across my PBX.

Any help or comment is greatly appreciated.
