Hello there, I'm having a problem with Hylafax and a Rockwell-chipset based modem (Chipset is Rockwell 144DP). When having send a fax to the hylafax server using WHFC the initalising - and - dialing procedure starts. But there is a severe error occuring: Apr 29 22:45:12 aquarium FaxSend[1150]: DELAY 2600 ms Apr 29 22:45:15 aquarium FaxSend[1150]: <-- [15:ATE0V1Q0S0=0H0\r] Apr 29 22:45:15 aquarium FaxSend[1150]: --> [5:ERROR] Apr 29 22:45:15 aquarium FaxSend[1150]: MODEM Command error Apr 29 22:45:15 aquarium FaxSend[1150]: DELAY 2600 ms Apr 29 22:45:18 aquarium FaxSend[1150]: <-- [15:ATE0V1Q0S0=0H0\r] Apr 29 22:45:18 aquarium FaxQueuer[381]: MODEM /dev/ttyS1 appears to be wedged Apr 29 22:45:18 aquarium FaxQueuer[381]: MODEM WEDGED: bin/wedged "ttyS1" "/dev/ttyS1" Apr 29 22:45:18 aquarium FaxSend[1150]: --> [5:ERROR] Apr 29 22:45:18 aquarium FaxSend[1150]: MODEM Command error Apr 29 22:45:18 aquarium FaxSend[1150]: Unable to setup modem on /dev/ttyS1; giving up I installed the modem using "faxaddmodem" and it went through autoprobing its features and was configured using Class 2. Can anyone of you give me a hint, where I can correct this init-string? Because only the S0=0 causes the error. The rest of the string is accepted by the modem. Thanks in advance (I'm using the binary version v4.0pl2-31) Dominik Roettsches e-mail: DRoettsches@tkc.de see also: http://privat.schlund.de/dr/ ICQ: 1570287
