flexfax: proxy server problem

	We are running the rpm version of hylafax on a redhat 5.2 box with
2.2.5 kernel installed. the box sits outside of our local firewall. When I
try to connect to it from a 192.168..x.x address it fails to authenticate
every time.
	I added *.nacs.net to the /var/spool/fax/etc/hosts 
	localhost
	127.0.0.1
	*nacs.net  
This doesn't help. I installed it at home and where I also run ip
masquerading. I had no problem from inside the firewall. I don't know that
knowledge is of any use but I have successfully gotten it work. If anyone
has seen this problem I would appreciate any advice.
