yes.  Use ImageMaick to convert the image to a tiffg3 formatted file.  After
that just using "sendfax -d xxx image.tiff" works fine.  We are using
HylaFAX v4pl2 on Solaris 2.6, compiled with GCC 2.8.1.

Check that the pixel size is correct, and the orentation also (ie. landscape
images need to be rotated 90' before faxing.).

I have tried tiff raw g3, pbm etc.
THe image files always come out the wrong size. Usually I only get a 
small corner of the image filling the page.

The images are 200dpi bitonal 8x10.5 so they should be faxable.
