flexfax: WHCF strikes again

Hi again,

I'm always running hylafax-4.0pl1-9 on my red Hat Linux 5.2 i386 system.
I fixed the delay that occurred trying to connect the server from win95
lan clients with WHCF 1.0.4. - thanks :) 
Now I've a light-speed connection, but what about ...

1) the error message "WSAECONNECT: connection reset by peer" 

2) the password request form ... I'did set no password for users in
*/hosts file!

Telnet works fine with both hostname and IP number.
