flexfax: US Robotics Sportster VI class C error

my system: Hylafax Version 4.0pl2, Linux Suse 5.2,
modem:  US Robotics Sportster VI (class 2.0)

problem_description: When receiving faxes with "hylafax" i'am getting the
following error messages:

It seems to me that this is a software problem. Does anybody have a
suggestion on how to solve it.
