flexfax: Using hylafax to access fax services

I think it is not possible but does anyone know whether hylafax can be
configured to receive faxes from a fax service which is designed for
manual use. 

It is one where you dial a number and then put your manual fax into
receive mode to receive the fax.

I can't see how you could use hylafax to automate this fax reception but
I have been asked how it could be done.
