flexfax: Modem uses only 1-D format

Hi,

i have a small problem with a setup of HylaFAX 4.0p2 on Linux 2.0.33
with a Zyxel modem.

HylaFAX uses only 1-D compression for sending faxes. I have put
the following parameter to ../etc/config : "Use2D:  Yes" 
and i have tried the parameter also in ../etc/config.ttyS1. But HylaFAX
uses only 1-D compression :

Do i have to set an other parameter for using 2-D compression or
is this a limitation of the Zyxel Modem ?
