flexfax: Received fax legal/Printer has letter

This is something that doesn't seem *too* difficult, but it would save me
time if someone's already done it:

I've made a one-line change to faxrcvd to automatically print faxes
as they come in, on a postscript printer. Problem is, this printer only
has letter-sized paper and occasionally someone sends a legal-sized fax.

Is there a commonly-used method to detect this and shrink the image to fit
the shorter paper?
