Hello, ive some problems with sending a fax with the hylafax package (receiving works fine with all kinds of modems and fax machines on the other side). My modem is a Elink 343 ISDN TA. It should comply to Fax Class 2 according to the docs. Its connected to a EuraCom 181 PBX which is connected to an ISDN BRI. Hylafax is version 4.0pl1 on a Linux machine with Kernel 2.0.30 The log shows always something like this Oct 26 08:03:05.23: [25906]: DIAL 005222986899 Oct 26 08:03:05.23: [25906]: DELAY 200 ms Oct 26 08:03:18.02: [25906]: REMOTE CSI "+49 5222 986899" Oct 26 08:03:18.32: [25906]: REMOTE best rate 9600 bit/s Oct 26 08:03:18.32: [25906]: REMOTE max page width 1728 pixels in 215 mm Oct 26 08:03:18.32: [25906]: REMOTE max unlimited page length Oct 26 08:03:18.32: [25906]: REMOTE best vres 7.7 line/mm Oct 26 08:03:18.32: [25906]: REMOTE best format 2-D MR Oct 26 08:03:18.32: [25906]: REMOTE best 20 ms, 10 ms/scanline Oct 26 08:03:18.32: [25906]: USE 9600 bit/s Oct 26 08:03:18.32: [25906]: USE 40 ms/scanline Oct 26 08:03:18.32: [25906]: SEND file "docq/doc14.ps;01" Oct 26 08:03:18.42: [25906]: USE page width 1728 pixels in 215 mm Oct 26 08:03:18.42: [25906]: USE unlimited page length Oct 26 08:03:18.42: [25906]: USE 7.7 line/mm Oct 26 08:03:18.42: [25906]: USE 1-D MR Oct 26 08:03:18.42: [25906]: DELAY 200 ms Oct 26 08:03:18.94: [25906]: DELAY 200 ms Oct 26 08:03:25.64: [25906]: SEND wait for XON Oct 26 08:03:25.68: [25906]: SEND begin page Oct 26 08:04:03.69: [25906]: SENT 49738 bytes of data Oct 26 08:04:03.69: [25906]: SEND end page Oct 26 08:04:07.54: [25906]: SEND send MPS (more pages, same document) Oct 26 08:04:07.54: [25906]: DELAY 200 ms Oct 26 08:04:10.33: [25906]: MODEM protocol botch ("+FPTS:"), can not parse PPR and i receive allways this mail. Your facsimile job to 005222986899 was not sent because: Communication failure during Phase B/C The receiver was a fax machine on the other side. This was one of the better results. In most cases the connect to the other side was immediately terminated after the initial handshake with the "Com failre during B/C" error. Do you have any idea why there are these problems? Before changing to Hylafax, i used the sendfax part from the mgetty+sendfax package without any problems. Greetings, Joerg
