flexfax: Hylafax Questions

2 questions regarding HylaFax.

A) How can we instruct hylafax on failure of a multipage fax
transmission  to send all pages from the beginning rather than from the
page the transmision was interrupted. ?

B) After a transmision or reception it takes a good 30-40 seconds before
the line is running idle again.
Why does it take so long ?
