New USR 56K modems?

Does anyone have any comments about the compatibility issues of the
newer USR 56K modems with HylaFax?

I have a USR 33.6 Voice which has the usual Transmit Phase B error
trouble.  I have never had it working with HylaFax.  However, I am about
to receive a free upgrade (board swap) to a 56K Voice.  Is the fax
firmware revision likely to be a working one?
