Re: USR 33.6 modem
I've got a sunos box with 4 sportster 28.8 modems that work just
fine. When one of the modems died I'd accidentally got a 33.6
as a replacement but could never get it to work. The symptoms
were very much like those you noted below. Putting another
28.8 in place worked. The 33.6 did work when I configured it
as class1 but so that I could have consistant hardware and a
consistant set of configs I went for the 28.8 in the end.
