I am not sure I understand you correctly, but if you are looking for a
way to let a smb client(eg. win95 ) start a command on a Samba server
on a Unix box, you might want to check out the smb.conf parameter
"magic script" see smb.conf(5). You should also be aware of environment
variables that might not get initialized. 

There are of course also some issues regarding win95 ps-drivers and
ghostscript, if that is your problem I can't help.
