I haven't had time to look at this particular problem in detail, and I
don't know exactly when I will, BUT...
Be aware that the MacFlex client currently doesn't break the text up into
"comments1", "comments2", etc. Instead, it sends the whole thing as
"comments". The other fields are sent, set to empty strings.
This may in fact not work well with folks current cover sheets. At
present, I'm not exactly sure what I could do about it. A few options
are:
1) Send "comments" and "comments1" as the same thing (actually,
I may be doing this already)
2) Break "comments" into sets of X words -- but who decides
what X is?
3) Finish the work I started long ago to support cover sheets
directly on the Mac
Someday, maybe I'll get to option 3 -- I plan to have a little drawing
program that lets you place fields on a PICT image and use that as a
cover sheet. Most of the UNIX folks here may not like that solution as
much, but I figure most Mac users will definately prefer it.
Anyway, a trace of the server protocol for "sendfax", "whfx" (?), and
"MacFlex" will show you how the Mac client differs. If someone can show
me, it may be a quick and easy fix.
