-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- As a single step solution, the ImageMagick program "convert" understands tiff, fax (tiffg3), postscript, encapsulated postscript, etc. and can translate them all in single steps. Hmmm. I wonder if it would be worth changing the suffix names on faxes to match that? I've had some confusion with my web browser lookign at the "faxxxxx.tif" files and thinking they're plain TIFF, rather than the TIFFG3 or "fax" format. Has anyone else had trouble with that? It's no big deal, just annoying. Nico Garcia Engineer, CIRL Mass.
