[hylafax-devel] "sendfax missing" when trying to start faxsetup

Please help! I have been trying different versions of Hylafax and still
getting the same message upon starting faxsetup: "sendfax is missing or
is not an executable file." I did get 4.1beta1 installed once but could
not get my modem to work with it. Now I am using 4.1beta2.

 I am also using kernel 2.2.14 with ELF, ghostscript 5.50,  etc. I read
everything I could find but I just don't get it. I found the following
errors in config.log:

     /usr/bin/ld cannot find -limage
     collect2: ldreturned 1 exit status
     make:***[t] error 1

    cannot find -lmalloc
    collect2:ld returned 1 exit status
    make:***[t] error1

   bool success = false

Can you give me some idea where to look to fix this?
