Re: [hylafax-users] Welcome to list 'hylafax-users'

I've searched the web on this one, but I've come up a bit dry.  Part of the problem is coming up with the correct way to explain the problem I'm having.

A while back, as a request of another department, I set up a hylafax server for incoming faxes only.  Using a Digi ethernet-based serial port concentrator, I was able to get the linux box configured to talk to the concentrator and successfully receive faxes in from the Multitech modems I attached to the digi.

The devices the digi created were in the format of:
/dev/tty_dgrp_1_0
/dev/tty_dgrp_1_1
..
/dev/tty_dgrp_1_15

Again, incoming faxes worked, and we didn't have a need for doing any outbound faxing.  Although, at the time, I did wonder why I couldn't do outbound faxing, but, since it wasn't an issue, and I didn't have a lot of time, I figured I would get to it later.

Well, later has arrived (about 16 months later), and I cannot see to figure out why it isn't sending faxes out. The FaxSend process seems to be replacing all of the underscores in the device name with forward slashes, and then it complains that it cannot find the device:

I just have this feeling that it is something simple that I am overlooking, but I cannot seem to see it.  I thought about upgrading, but since this is a production server, I'm trying to be rather careful with the changes.  Any help or pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
