If they're non-standard fonts then the PDF should have the fonts 
embedded.  If they are standard fonts, then the PDF should describe them 
well-enough that Ghostscript should be able to find a suitable match.

Therefore there is either something wrong with the PDF or there is 
something wrong with your Ghostscript installation.

If you can share the PDF we can help you determine which.
