Hi everybody
I've been lurking this forum quite a long time so far, and found that many people had my problem, but there wasn't a common solution.
I keep getting "No response to PPS repeated 3 times" with almost ALL the number I call, except for a few ones (and that's confirming my hope of having configured Hylafax server well)
I have Hylafax 6.0.3 on Ubuntu destkop 9.10
Modem is USR Robotics serial number 71-245630-01, Class 1, on ttyS1
The serial number tells it is a 5630 modem, but faxaddmodem recognize it as 5601.
I googled a while, and think that both are right: 5630 is the model, but 5601 is what's inside...
(did I get it well? :-) )
I tried also configuring modem with 2.0 (faxaddmodem tells me that it supports only 1 and 2.0) but I had no luck.
I used to attach these files, but my email never appeared in the mailing list, so i try to cut only relevant data; if you neeed something more please tell me, I'll do what I can!
