faxmail behavior between HylaFAX 4.4.4 and HylaFAX+ 5.2.7 vary on a 
number of points.  I believe you're hitting one.  The mail2fax.sh script 
that you're using is intended for HylaFAX+ behavior (as well as 
HylaFAX.org releases prior to 4.4... I think).
