Thank you for your ansewer Uwe. But I would like to know another thing. Why did Hylafax say that I have a file (recvq/fax000001698.tif) and the file is not there? There were some communications errors in the past, but Hylafax didn't log any file. For me, it would be normal. But... Thank you once more. -----Message d'origine----- De : Uwe Dippel [mailto:udippel@xxxxxxxxx] Envoyé : 2 décembre, 2008 19:50 À : Marcelo Godois Tavares Cc : Hylafax Users Objet : Re: [hylafax-users] The tif images doesn't exist in the recvq directory Marcelo Godois Tavares wrote: > > > Dec 02 15:40:42.02: [ 6619]: RECV FAX (000001622): > recvq/fax000001698.tif from 0q 62-555-3153, route to > <unspecified>, 0 pages in 1:17 > > Dec 02 15:40:42.02: [ 6619]: RECV FAX: Failure to raise V.21 > transmission carrier. > > Dec 02 15:40:42.02: [ 6619]: <-- [9:AT+FTH=3\r] > > Dec 02 15:40:42.31: [ 6619]: --> [7:CONNECT] > > Dec 02 15:40:42.31: [ 6619]: <-- HDLC<3:FF C8 5F> > > Dec 02 15:40:42.31: [ 6619]: <-- data [3] > > Dec 02 15:40:42.31: [ 6619]: <-- data [2] > > Dec 02 15:40:43.49: [ 6619]: --> [2:OK] > > Dec 02 15:40:43.49: [ 6619]: RECV FAX (000001622): session with > 0q 62-555-3153 terminated abnormally: Failure to raise V.21 > transmission carrier. > > Dec 02 15:40:43.49: [ 6619]: RECV FAX: bin/faxrcvd > "recvq/fax000001698.tif" "ttyS1" "000001622" "Failure to raise V.21 > transmission carrier." > > Dec 02 15:40:43.49: [ 6619]: RECV FAX: end > > Dec 02 15:40:43.49: [ 6619]: Failure to raise V.21 transmission carrier. > > Dec 02 15:40:43.49: [ 6619]: SESSION END > Hi, Marcelo. I am not an expert, but what I have found out by now on hylafax: When the reception incurs a serious error, there is no image file in /recvq. First, you'd have to debug the reason for that "Failure to raise V.21 transmission carrier." If you enter this phrase in Google (or search the archives, you'll find a bunch of hints.
