HylaFAX transmitted NSF, CSI, and DIS signals and then began listening 
for the response from the sender.  After 3 seconds the sender hung up.

Are you sure this was a fax?

If so, you probably want to be looking at the Asterisk CLI for clues as 
to what is happening.  Is faxdetect interfering, perhaps?
