Re: [hylafax-users] Testing PAM Authentication

Hello,

easiest is to delete all users from FAXSPOOL/etc/hosts.hfaxd file
and try to connect to your fax srver from some other host

like
FAXUSER="username" faxstat -s -h <faxserver ip>

it will as for password

Hope this helps

Tomas

Hi All

Iam currently trying to get PAM Authentication to work on my hylafax
server, on Ubuntu 8.04.1 Server.

I have created the following file in /etc/pam.d/hylafax for the PAM Auth:-

#%PAM-1.0
# description: PAM Authentication Hylafax Server
@include common-auth
@include common-account
@include common-password
@include common-session

However iam unsure if Hylafax is work with the PAM Authentication, is
their any easy way to tell/test if this is working?

Thanks

Andy
