[hylafax-users] "Modem appears wedged..."
My hylafax version 5.2.7, running on Fedora 9, was working find until
a short time ago. I shut down the computer and started it up again,
and now, every 5 minutes I get an email that says:
"The HylaFAX software thinks that there is a problem with the modem
on device /dev/ttyS0 that needs attention; repeated attempts to
initialize the modem have failed. Consult the server trace logs for
more information on what is happening."
And yet, if I send a test fax to this machine from another line, it
works fine... the fax is received and sent to me via email just like
it's supposed to.
How can I fix this, or at least, how can I get it to shut up and stop
sending me that "modem is wedged" email every 5 minutes?
Thanks...
