[hylafax-users] help with an elsa microlink 56k

Hi

Sorry for my bad english I’m a french people.

I’d like to use hylafax with an elsa microlink 56k modem (in France). I have done

the default configuration of the modem but I have a queue response by e-mail

when I send a fax.

root@xxx:/var/spool/hylafax/etc# probemodem

Serial port that modem is connected to []? ttyUSB0

Now we are going to probe the tty port.  This takes a few seconds,

so be patient.  Note that if you do not have the modem cabled to

the port, or the modem is turned off, this may hang (just go and

cable up the modem or turn it on, or whatever).

Probing for best speed to talk to modem: 38400 OK.

This looks like a Class 1, 2, 2.0, 1.0 and 2.1 modem.

The config file is configured with class 1 modem. I don’t understand why the command ATDT deletes the two first number of the fax number.

Is someone have a config.ttySx for this modem please ? I’ve already test http://www.hylafax.org/archive/2000-06/msg00035.php but the modem doesn’t

initialize in class 2. Maybe my config file is bad.

Thanks for your helps.
