The hfaxd protocol is very similar to FTP. In fact, it is rumored that there are some FTP clients that support the custom JPARM commands.

So, if you assume that FTP and hfaxd are compatibly equivalent, then it can be said that you can submit Postscript files to HylaFAX for fax sending using "FTP".
