Re: [hylafax-users] warning after Fritz PCI config

Hi,

try the ready-to-go drivers from here:

http://opensuse.foehr-it.de/

http://opensuse.foehr-it.de/rpms/11_0/2.6.25_5.1.1/32bit/

They kernel version must match yours !

I have used the fpci drivers for 10.3, working well.

The driver added the avm capi interface to the system.

For using this together with hylafax you need the capi4hylafax which should be

part of the distribution and you need to configure the ISDN part of SuSE (network on suse 10.3) .

Capi4hylafax add c2faxrec and c2faxsend to the system which are used for send&receive instead of the hylafax tools.

Try google and “fritzcard hylafax howto” you will find enough sides to realize it.

Cheers

Lars

Subject: [hylafax-users] warning after Fritz PCI config

Hi community,

i will setup a hylafax server with open suse 11.0.

for a test-setup i have installed a fritz pci isdn-card.

after configuration the fritz card the following warning occurs "binary-only driver is not part of our distribution".

from opensuse.org i have download the capi-driver fcpci-suse93-3.11-07.tar.gz.

after install this tar-file a error message appears "can not generate driver"  and "could not generate fcpi.ko"

no fritz device is listet by use lsmod.

Work this tar-file with open suse 11.0?

for setup a hylafax must i install this capi 2.0 driver or must i use the capi4hylafax?

where can i get the correct drivers?

Also helpfull a good link to an install-instruction for a hylafax-server.

kind regards

gruß
