[hylafax-users] HylaFax+ 5.2.2 fails on building w/ PAM support

Hi all (again),

Hmm, just tried rebuilding HylaFax+ 5.2.2 w/PAM support, and noticed it failed in building Login.c++:

/usr/bin/g++     -DSNPP_SUPPORT=1 -I.././faxd   -D__ANSI_CPP__ -I. -I.. -I.././regex -I.././hfaxd -I.././util -I/usr/local/include -g -fpic -O  -c Login.c++
Login.c++:101: error: âSTRUCT_PAM_MESSAGEâ has not been declared
Login.c++: In function âint pamconv(int, int**, pam_response**, void*)â:
Login.c++:113: error: request for member âmsg_styleâ in â* * msgâ, which is of non-class type âintâ
Login.c++: In member function âbool HylaFAXServer::pamCheck(const char*, const char*)â:
Login.c++:171: error: invalid conversion from âint (*)(int, int**, pam_response**, void*)â to âint (*)(int, const pam_message**, pam_response**, void*)â
make[3]: *** [Login.o] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/mnt/dump/build/hylafax-5.2.2/hfaxd'
make[2]: *** [default] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/mnt/dump/build/hylafax-5.2.2/hfaxd'
make[1]: *** [dirs] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/mnt/dump/build/hylafax-5.2.2'
make: *** [default] Error 2

(Excuse the 'â' characters, obviously my Putty is trying to do fancy unicode and failing in a most epic fashion. I think their quotation marks or something...)

I just added the pam-devel RPM from SuSE, but am missing something else here by chance?

A quick Google lookup suggests this one bit Solaris folks back in 2005. Has it returned to haunt once more?:

Thanks!,
