Hi Charl, don't put the print command in the FaxDispatch file. Put it at the end of the faxrvcd file before "Cleanup...". I use "/usr/bin/tiff2ps -H 11.4 -W 8.2 -S $FILE | lpr -P queue" Cheers Lars -----Original Message----- From: hylafax-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:hylafax-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Charl le Roux Sent: Wednesday, February 27, 2008 4:15 PM To: hylafax-users@xxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [hylafax-users] faxrcvd not executed after receiving a fax Hi all, I have been struggling with this for a while, searched allover and can not come up with the answer. I am on Ubuntu-server 7.10, Hylafax-server version 4.4.0-2. Hylafax was installed from the repositories of ubuntu server. I need to print the received faxes as soon as they arrive but it is not working. I have included the following line, /usr/bin/tiff2ps -a $FILE | lpr -P HP_LJ_1300 into FaxDispatch but nothing is printed out. Running the command from the commandline with a file does print. Furthermore I have included a test into FaxDispatch and faxrcvd to post to a file and from that it is evident that those files are not executed at all. I can not find the reason why they are not executed and would appreciate some help. Please let me know what information I need to provide you. Some things I can think of is: $/var/spool/hylafax/etc$ ls -l FaxDispatch -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1698 2008-02-27 15:39 FaxDispatch $/var/spool/hylafax/bin$ ls -l f* -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 6016 2008-02-27 15:38 faxrcvd The FaxRcvdCmd in config.ttyS0 is commented out because I understand that it is defaulted to bin/faxrcvd anyway. I am pretty desparate and I will kick myself if it is something silly.
