Why my hylafax server doesn't execute job's list queue ? I do "faxstate -n ready -t ttyS0" every time I want to submit faxjob.

I used config/usr-rts profile to configure config.ttyS0 file.

INFO: Hylafax server 4.4.4 (binary RH5) on Fedora 8. Modem USSRobotic 56K Message Modem on ttyS0

Are you running faxgetty?

Thanks,

Lee.

I don't think, just do this steps:
rpm -Uhv hylafax....
/usr/sbin/faxconfig (leaving all defaults)
than faxaddmodem

commadn "ps -ef | grep faxgetty" produces zero rows.
I don't need to receive fax actually. I only need to send.

First of all after rpm you need to run faxsetup. After faxsetup you need to run faxmodem or faxgetty, and faxgetty is recommended. If you're not receiving then just set RingsBeforeAnswer to 0.

Lee.
