Hallo Aidan,

faxalter manpage here on suse 9.2, Suse 10.2 has no "-r" option, sorry!
Nor faxalter reacts on faxalter -r 22604:

pserver:~ # faxalter -r 22609
faxalter: invalid option -- r
usage: faxalter [-h server-host] [-a time] [-d number] [-k time] [-m modem]
 [-n notify] [-P priority] [-t tries] [-A] [-p] [-g] [-DQR] jobID...

Where did you find the -r option?
