Well, just using JBIGDecode for tif_decodestrip (and JBIGEncode for tif_encodestrip) with no other changes doesn't work -- crashes inside memcpy() with a corrupted stack (such that I can't tell how it got there, and it appears that valgrind doesn't get along very well with gentoo's splitdebug functionality, so I can't debug further without rebuilding much of the rest of my system).


Lee, I believe you originally wrote the JBIG patch for libtiff; any chance there'd be a version out there somewhere which addresses this?
