I have one document in the fax queue that has a wrong phone number.
There are about 40 faxes in the queue. Is there a way to change
the phone number on a fax so that the next time its sent it won't
fail? This would simply not require the user to resend it.
With HylaFAX+ you can use the faxalter -C option to do this:
faxalter -C "JPARM EXTERNAL 301" -C "JPARM DIALSTRING 301" <jobid>
Where "301" is the new number to dial and <jobid> is the job number.
"faxalter -d 301 <jobid>" does this with HylaFAX... have you removed
that option from HylaFAX+ to warrant the use of -C commands to do the
job?
Ah, good old -d option, too. :-) Yup that works in HylaFAX+ as well.
Thanks,
Lee.
