[hylafax-users] Cisco VOIP system with a VG248 analog gateway and mainpine modems

We might have access to a complete Cisco VIOP phone system. If we end up with it we'd like to feed our Mainpine OCT from the VG248 FSX gateway that we think will be included with the system.

A little background will be helpful.

If I was using a "standard" phone system with a PRI connection I would use a Adtran Atlas with two PRI's and a FXS modules installed to connect Hylafax to the PSN. The Atlas would allow me to divert fax calls to the FSX ports and voice calls to the PRI connected to the phone system. The FXS card also has the ability to send DID digits when the Mainpine OCT modem card answers the call which then allows Hylafax to direct the fax to the correct location.

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can do the same thing with a Cisco VOIP system using the VG248 FXS gateway? If so a Atlas would not be needed so I can put that money towards additional modem cards. If not I can still front-end the Cisco system with the Atlas.
