Hi Marcel, Your ISDN BRI is actually supporting two "bearer" channels ('lines') and that's why you can receive two fax's at the same time. Simply replace this with two analog lines and two modems. If your ATA has analog ports then you can continue to use the ISDN line if you wish. Choose a modem that supports V.34 and JBIG compression for the maximum performance. Select Agere (LSI) Venus or CFAX34 chipsets for compatibility and future proofing. Mainpine manufacture two port PCI and PCI Express fax boards. But I have some doubts because of load balancing. With my avm ISDN card it was possible to receive two faxes on the same port at the same time (with the same msn). An analog fax board obviously only receives one fax at a time. Is it possible to activate more ports to listen to one msn? One of our phone numbers really receives a lot of faxes a day and I am pretty sure that one fax at a time would not be enough to handle them. Thank you for any advice.
