Re: [hylafax-users] [hylafax-user] use only one B-Channel for sending faxes

All ISDN modem hardware interactions as you describe come from your CAPI4HylaFAX package and not from HylaFAX itself.

...on the other hand it is possible to create only one modem for a controller with 2B-Channels (see below). So it is (in a way) possible with Hylafax to send only on one channel. The drawback is to change configs (e.g. with a shellscript) and restart the server in case the second channel should be sending too.

{
  # Controller 1, B-Channel 1 (2 not used)
  HylafaxDeviceName:          faxCAPI

    FAXNumber:                  +49.30.12345678
    LocalIdentifier:            "FaxName"
    MaxConcurrentRecvs:         2
    OutgoingController:         1
    OutgoingMSN:                +49.30.12345678
    SuppressMSN:                0
    UseISDNFaxService:          0
    RingsbeforeAnswer:          0
    RingingDuration:            0
    {
        Controller:             1
        AcceptSpeech:           1
        IncomingMSNs: +493012345678
        AcceptGlobalCall:       1
    }
}

thanks for answering anyway.
Stefan
