Fax really doesn’t work well with VoIP.  To see why please read the following document from Lee;

If you are still unconvinced then please search the HylaFAX archives for “VoIP” and/or “Vonage”.... this is just going to cost you a lot of time and give pretty unsatisfactory results.

I am newbie here. Can someone explain me basics at all!


I am find HylaFSP http://www.ifax.com/products/hylafsp/about_hylafsp.php

I need send faxes to USA using http://www.vonage.com I can install http://www.hylafax.org/ on Linux VPS. But I must be sure somehow that HylaFSP can do all this:

1. HylaFSP on my Windows PC CONNECT TO-> Hylafax on my Linux VPS server -> AND SEND FAX?

2. And where I need "attach"/insert my VOIP provider details? by HylaFSP on my Windows PC?

Pls. help....
