Hi Maya,

 

You need to work with the folks at linmodems.org to get your modem installed under Linux - send them your modemdata.txt file and they may be able to help you get this modem 'working' on your Laptop.

 

However, I can tell you that this is an AC'97 software modem and will NOT work with a fax.

Hai All...
i tried to configure hylafax server in my laptop.. 
i installed hylafax-server software nd thier dependiencies... and i run the 
faxsetup command it asks some quoestions.. i answer them all...but the 
configuraton file for this is not created(/etc/hylafax/config.ttySo).. 
i 
test the modem by checking the /proc/pci.. and it 
shows......
