After taking a closer look at WHFC instead of relying on information I 
got from the colleague that was supposed to find a solution, WHFC works 
fine for this application ... with ODBC access (and the built-in address 
book), selecting multiple recipients works out ... have set up a MySQL 
backend to contain the fax address book, which is even editable through 
WHFC ...
