Hello

I have installed Hylafax 4.3.1 using the Fedora Core 5 package.

When trying to use sendfax, I get the error:
/usr/local/lib/fax/typerules: Can not open type rules file.

As far as I know the FC5 package for 4.3.1 does not setup HylaFAX to look for anything in /usr/local. Is it possible you had a previous installation from source code hanging around that _was_ installed into /usr/local? If so, and if you want to run the RPM package, check for /usr/local/ paths in /var/spool/hylafax/etc/setup.cache and change them to the RPM location.

Co-installing source code builds and RPM packages can get a little messy in subtle ways you might not expect - if possible I'd recommend removing all traces of both installations, move /var/spool/hylafax to /var/spool/hylafax.orig (or delete it) and start over.
