The best solution is to fix the protocol problem from both sides as best 
we can.  We may be able to do nothing as far as Class 2 goes, but 
chances are good that we can make things better from the Class 1 side of 
things.

Send corresponding send and receive logs, and we'll see how to go from 
there.
