[hylafax-users] Hylafax and PAM

Hello.

 

Im trying to use hylafax 4.3.0 with PAM authentification. I have seen this problem before on the mailinglist but no solution that seems to work for me.

 

The following shows up in the logs(edited out the IP and dnsname):

 

Nov 30 08:16:18 leyland pam_winbind[12674]: Could not retrieve user's password

The following is in /etc/pam.d/hylafax:

auth    include         system-auth

account include         system-auth

session include         system-auth

 

And the following in /etc/pam.d/system-auth:

auth       required     pam_env.so

auth       sufficient   /lib64/security/pam_winbind.so

auth       sufficient   pam_unix.so likeauth nullok

auth       required     pam_deny.so

 

account    sufficient   /lib64/security/pam_winbind.so

account    required     pam_unix.so

 

password   required     pam_cracklib.so difok=2 minlen=8 dcredit=2 ocredit=2 retry=3

password   sufficient   pam_unix.so nullok md5 shadow use_authtok

password   required     pam_deny.so

 

session    required     pam_limits.so

session    required     pam_unix.so

 

I run Gentoo on the box, updated with all the libraries and latest hylafax ebuild.

 

Any suggestion would be appreciated, been banging my head in the wall for a while with this J
