HylaFAX The world's most advanced open source fax server |
*Note to moderators - if this message has appeared twice please remove
one and accept my apologies!* Hi I'm pretty new to Linux in general, but I'm getting there. I've installed HylaFAX on a PC and tested it both in and outbound and it seems to do what it's supposed to - almost! I've a bit of a problem with the TIF image produced. The document I sent to the server was A4 in size, and written on in portrait format (like a letter). When the TIF appears, it's 'squat', but appears to be A4ish sized, just short and wide rather than long and thin. So I'm thinking I need to adjust a setting somewhere for the output image. I found a file called 'pagesizes' with values for all the differing paper sizes, but changing those doesn't seem to have an effect, even after stopping and starting the hylafax service. Could someone point me in the correct direction please? I've tried the documentation, and searched the archives but nothing comes close. TIA --
