This is something that was fixed in 4.2.3.

There was some fallout from that fix that has been present even up until 
now dealing with faxqclean.  For the most part you shouldn't notice it.  
As far as everyone is aware, all of that is taken care of in HylaFAX+ 
5.0.1 and the someday-to-be 4.3.1.
