[hylafax-users] Retrieving a list of users from the Hylafax server

Hi,

I am new to Hylafax but have managed to get it configured without too
much issues using an external modem. I have also been able to use the
FTP interface to remotely retrieve queue information and using
WinPrintHylafax I have been able to configure machines on our network
to send faxes.

Most of our faxes are sent from an automated server and we have a
custom GUI to allow us to see what is going on there. We would like to
expand this to be able to do some basic user management like adding,
removing and changing user password.

From what I have been able to do thus far it seems that the FTP
interface does have this support but there is no way to retrieve an
actual list of all the users already configured on the Hylafax server.
Is this correct or have I missed something? The other GUIs I had a
look at all seem to keep their own database of users and then apply
that to the Hylafax server but the actual user list etc doesn't seem
to come from Hylafax.

If I did miss something it would be much appreciated if you could
guide me towards to applicable information to be able to implement
this into our custom GUI.

Yes I know there are quite a lot of GUIs available already but none
were able to interface directly into our management console so we
spent some time adding Hylafax to it. What we have done is quite
simple - it basically shows a list of faxes in the outgoing queue, a
list of faxes sent and a list of faxes received. We now wish to expand
it to allow the user management as well.

Thank you for your time,

Albert
